Discontinued - sold February 2000 through December 2002 The original member of the Action Light family, the All-in-One model is a revolutionary new concept in flashlight (headlamp) design employing an array of 24 white LEDs (light emitting diodes) that provides more light than a standard flashlight or a carbide lamp.  Powered by a single D-cell 10 year lithium battery, the LED array is driven by a microcomputer controlled constant current power supply.  The light provides 5 brightness settings ranging from the extremely bright Overdrive setting that is brighter than most flashlights to the frugal Dim setting that can be left on all month.  The daylight quality light is focused into a smooth broad beam that is optimized for best night vision.  The light is waterproof and very rugged.  You will never have to worry about the light coming on in your pack accidentally with our new electronic switch lock.  And we even include an emergency signaling mode that automatically sends the international SOS distress message. You will probably find, as we have, that the Low setting provides enough light to follow good trails while the Medium setting provides plenty of light for following faint trails or challenging routes.  The High setting is usually reserved for looking longer distances. Owner's Manual The Owner's Manual teaches you how to properly use and care for your Action Light. Changes Version 2: add microprocessor controlled constant current power supply with 5 brightness settings, switch lock, SOS signaling and wide voltage range.  Add dry nitrogen atmosphere. CAUTION Whereas a sudden total failure is very unlikely, it is still possible.  Therefore, we strongly recommend you always carry a second light with you.  We also recommend you carry enough spare batteries to cover your stay plus a reasonable safety margin.  It is not necessary to start each trip with a new battery in your lamp as long as you have a spare battery along. CAUTION White LEDs on the highest setting are very bright. Looking directly into the LEDs must be avoided.
