Discontinued - sold December 1999 through February 2000 Used original constant voltage power supply for High and Medium settings and resistor for Low setting with all power controlled by switch. The 24-3V-series models feature our compact single array designed to run with a 3 volt battery system. When configured as the 24-3V-LB, the light is functionally equivalent to the All-In-One model. To really appreciate what this light can do, you should read the full description of its special technologies. You may also view the other members of the Action Light family.

External Battery Packs and CordsThe reliability of your light depends upon the quality of the battery system and the wiring connections used to connect the battery system to your light. Always choose a high quality battery and cord system, keep it properly maintained and make sure all connections are clean and sound. Our lights and battery packs come with gate-style terminal blocks. These terminal blocks provide secure wire mounting, low contact resistance and hold up well in harsh environments. The terminals are marked to allow correct electrical polarity to be maintained. Our cords are rugged industrial cable. The ends are stripped and soldered, ready to be inserted into the gate terminal blocks. Wires are color coded: red should be connected to the positive (+) terminal and black should be connected to the negative (-) terminal. The Action Light 24-3V-NB model is configured without a battery pack so you can use your existing external battery pack or one of your own design. The light may be connected to any external battery pack that can supply the specified power. Therefore, you are free to choose between primary or rechargeable batteries. The wattage specified is for the High setting and will allow you to roughly calculate how long any particular battery pack will last. The power ratio between settings is roughly 5:1. The minimum voltage listed will generate correct operation on all settings. As the voltage falls below the minimum voltage the amount of light generated on any particular setting will decrease gracefully. For most efficient operation, always select a lower setting when the setting you are using starts to dim. Selecting lower power settings will increase the total time remaining.
